Deldot sets meetings on commuter rail service

9:42 a.m., July 12, 2004--The Delaware Transit Corp. (DTC), the public transit division of the Delaware Department of Transportation (Deldot), is sponsoring three open house meetings to get input from the public on proposed commuter rail service between Dover and Wilmington.

The meetings will be held from 4-7 p.m., on:

  • Tuesday, July 13, at Delaware Technical and Community College, Conference and Training Center, 100 Campus Drive, Dover;
  • Wednesday, July 14, at Meredith Everett Middle School, 504 South Broad St., Middletown; and
  • Tuesday, July 27, at Delaware Transit Corp. Administration Center, 400 South Madison St., Wilmington.

The meetings are open to the public. All locations are accessible to persons with disabilities. To request special accommodations, call Deldot at 1-800-652-5600 in Wilmington or (302) 760-2080 in Dover.
