Toy drive under way through Dec. 17

5:06 p.m., Dec. 2, 2003--The holidays are a time to give, particularly if the one on the receiving end is a disadvantaged child. In keeping with this spirit, a campus Toys for Tots toy drive is currently under way.

Sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, the drive began Monday, Dec. 1, and runs through Wednesday, Dec. 17. Donations of new, unwrapped toys are being collected from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays, in drop boxes located in the lobby of the Student Services Building on Lovett Avenue. Donated toys will be distributed to children in need throughout Delaware the week before Christmas.

For more information, call Kathy Domorod at 831-1552.
