The Area Studies Programs at the University of Delaware provide an opportunity for coherent and systematic study of Africa, East Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the Islamic world.
Many career opportunities are open to students who major and minor in Area Studies. Because of their in-depth knowledge, graduates of these programs often find employment in government, non-governmental organizations and aid agencies, education, and international business and banking. In addition, training in one of these programs provides a solid foundation for graduate study.
