Student engagement feedback

UD participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement

This spring, the University of Delaware is participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). First-year and senior students who complete the survey will be entered into a random drawing to win a variety of prizes.

NSSE is a national survey that collects information from first-year and senior students across the country about the ways in which they study, learn and interact with faculty and each other.

Responses from UD students and comparison data from students at other colleges and universities help us better understand and improve students’ experiences at UD. Results of previous surveys can be found on UD’s Institutional Research website. To gain access to the results, you will need to enter your UDelNet ID as your username and password.

First-year and senior students have been invited to participate in NSSE via email. The survey closes on Monday, May 13. If you are a student who has been invited and you cannot find the email invitation, visit nssesurvey.org to request your Login ID.

Students who complete the survey will be automatically entered in a random drawing to win one of two Amazon gift cards (worth $200), one of 10 BrewHaHa! gift cards (worth $20), or one of 60 UD Flex Points credits (worth $5). Chances of winning depend on how many complete the survey; the last time we administered this survey about 2,072 students responded.

UD staff in Institutional Research look forward to sharing NSSE results with the entire UD community this fall by updating UD’s Institutional Research website, sharing reports, conducting presentations and offering consultations.
