Chronic wounds
Prof. Heck's legacy
The interdisciplinary doctoral training program involves faculty members from nine departments with expertise in the SBE2 research areas. Accepted students receive:
- A generous stipend for two years;
- Internship experiences;
- Enhanced post-IGERT career and employment options;
- Opportunities to deepen knowledge in business, communication and ethics; and
- Opportunities to work with similar-minded graduate students from different disciplines on similar research topics.
Nominations should come from IGERT faculty participants. Nominees can be first- or second-year students who are already admitted to one of the participating Ph.D. degree programs.
Most of the available IGERT Scholar positions require students to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; however, exceptional students that are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents may be eligible to become IGERT Scholars. All student nominations must be submitted by Dec. 15.
