Third annual UDance Rave Run to be held on The Green

9:20 a.m., Oct. 20, 2015--The University of Delaware’s largest student-run philanthropy will present the third annual UDance Rave Run at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28. 

The Rave Run consists of three laps, or three miles, around The Green.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

Participants are encouraged to partake in a Halloween costume contest and will receive free glow sticks during the event. Prizes will be awarded for the first place male and female runners and for the winner of the costume contest. 

Participants can pre-register at this site. 

Registration will also take place the day of the Rave Run from 5:45-6:15 p.m. in front of Memorial Hall. 

Pre-registration is $15 and day of registration is $20. 

All proceeds go toward UDance 2016 and the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer.
