UD community invited to program focused on diversity engagement

5:28 p.m., Oct. 21, 2015--Members of the University of Delaware community are invited to a Diversity Forum, scheduled at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center.

The program will include discussion about the collaborative effort necessary for successful diversity practice at UD and how the vice provost for diversity, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Center for the Study of Diversity contribute to the engagement and objectives of diversity at UD.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Also discussed will be the diversity network at UD, as well as a preview of the diversity blueprint and action plan.
