Mineralogical Museum to host curator's talk titled 'Tales from the Underground'
8:37 a.m., March 8, 2016--Sharon Fitzgerald will present a Curator’s Talk titled “Tales from the Underground” on Wednesday, March 16, at the Mineralogical Museum in Penny Hall.
The talk and reception will be held from 5-7 p.m.

June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Fitzgerald, who is the Mineralogical Museum curator, will discuss some of the newly discovered history of the collection, as well as recent acquisitions on display this semester.
Due to Fitzgerald’s work researching the mineral collection’s history and refining the permanent display, UD’s Mineralogical Museum was recently named one of the “30 Most Amazing Higher Ed Natural History Museums.”
