Honors Stories

National Medal of Science

President Barack Obama recently presented the National Medal of Science to University of Delaware alumnus Rakesh Jain.

Warren Award

Rosalind Johnson, assistant dean for student success in the NUCLEUS Program in UD's College of Arts and Sciences, was presented the John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award during a May 26 ceremony.

The team then moved on to the second part of the competition in early February, and was selected to compete in person in Pittsburgh later that month.

The software required each team member to act as vice president of an area of the business, with the ultimate goal of achieving a higher return on investment (ROI) than other teams.

Fifteen teams began competing last fall.

The APICS Brandywine Valley Chapter supported the team and offered congratulations on the accomplishment.
