Panels to highlight promotion and tenure process for assistant, associate professors

8:02 a.m., Feb. 16, 2016--The UD ADVANCE Institute and the vice provost for faculty affairs at the University of Delaware are co-hosting two panel discussions focused on the promotion and tenure process on Wednesday, March 9, in the Collins Room of the Perkins Student Center.

The morning session, scheduled from 10-11:30 a.m., is for associate professors and will address the process for promotion to full professor. The afternoon session, scheduled from 1:30-3 p.m., is for assistant professors and will address the overall promotion and tenure process.

Both panels will present a diversity of perspectives from department chairs, a former member of the University promotion and tenure committee and recently promoted colleagues.
