2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

Applying this knowledge and promoting this awareness helps build a stronger and better UD, an OEI representative said.

Several of the workshops focus on advancing diversity on campus, such as sessions targeted to ensure that managers are aware of updates to laws and policies in place to prevent discrimination and harassment at the University.

Scheduled trainings include:

ABCs of LGBT: This training is an introduction to the LGBTQQIAA community that provides the first building blocks of awareness and support.

Workplace Bullies and Bystanders: This workshop will help participants recognize and identify troubling behavior, define the difference between bullying and harassment, and educate them on how to be an effective bystander.

Harassment and Discrimination Training: This training enables employees to correctly identify issues as harassment or discrimination, understand their mandatory reporting options, and practice responding to people and situations.

ADA and Employee Accommodations: This workshop is designed to provide managers with an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act, provides guidance about identifying reasonable accommodations, covers communicating with people with disabilities, and provides thoughts on how people with disabilities can be fully welcomed into the workplace.

LGBT Allies: This intensive five-hour training prepares individuals to join the network of people who openly support the LGBT community at the University.

Equity in Brief - Title IX Training: This workshop will highlight the mandatory reporting obligations of our campus employees, including the distinction between providing confidentiality and privacy. Attendees will be provided with an understanding of where to refer victims and the many resources available on campus to victims of gender-based violence.

Stewards of Children Training: This prevention training program teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

Those interested in attending one or more of the sessions can register through the LearnIT calendar.
