On-campus projects
On Sept. 20, there will a variety of options from which students and alumni may choose:
• Residence Life has organized service activity hubs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at three locations on campus: the East Campus Turf, the Laird Campus Turf, and West Campus near Rodney Dining Hall. These hubs will provide various opportunities for students and alumni to partake in activities that benefit several local organizations, including Family Promise, B+ Organization and Ronald McDonald House.
• The UD Student Alumni Ambassadors and the New Castle County Alumni Club will co-sponsor a Day of Service hub on Laird campus, where alumni and students will make capes and write motivational “high-fives” for patients in Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children.
At each location, there will be giveaways, refreshments and opportunities to win great prizes. All students are encouraged to participate, and no experience is necessary.
