Nov. 1: Mayor's Masquerade run, walk
Family-friendly event to fund workout stations on Newark's James Hall Trail
11:18 a.m., Oct. 13, 2014--The University of Delaware College of Health Sciences is partnering with the city of Newark to host the Mayor’s Masquerade Fun Run/Walk at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, on The Green. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
The event will benefit the Healthy Newark initiative to fund workout stations along the city’s James Hall Trail.

Registration and an after-party will be held at Grotto Pizza on Main Street.
Pre-registration is $10 online. Day-of registration ($15) begins at 3 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity to help promote wellness and fitness in our community and to partner with the city of Newark,” says Mike Smith, director of partnerships and strategic initiatives in the College of Health Sciences.
