Nov. 20: 'Remote Area Medical'
Christiana Care to host screening of documentary addressing health disparities
10:01 a.m., Nov. 5, 2014--A screening of the documentary Remote Area Medical will be held in the main auditorium on the Christiana Care campus from 1:30-4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20.
The event is sponsored by the Value Institute at Christiana Care and the DE-CTR ACCEL program, which is led by the University of Delaware.

The film, which has been acclaimed at film festivals and screened at hospitals and universities across the country, highlights health care issues in underserved populations in the United States and puts a human face on health care disparities.
The event will include an introduction, screening of the movie, a panel discussion led by Dr. LeRoi Hicks, and a reception with hors d’oeuvres.
