UD alumnus featured in free webinar on spinning dreams into reality
12:41 p.m., Nov. 20, 2014--A compelling webinar featuring University of Delaware alumnus David (Amaze) Mays, a member of the Class of 2002, will be offered at noon, Monday, Dec. 1.
Members of the campus community are invited to tune in to hear the inspiring story of how Mays, well known as DJ Amaze, took what he learned in the classroom and created his own business.

Mays graduated from UD with a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences and is now a recording artist, producer, instructor and businessperson, and a DJ well-known to the Blue Hen community.
Mays said he strongly values enriching and educating today’s youth with the proper tools to be successful.
He teaches DJ and music technology classes at Delaware Technical Community College, through UD special programs and at World Cafe Live, and brings special workshops to the community groups that would like to learn more about the world of musical technology advances.
The Dec. 1 webinar will offer insight on how to use resources to build a career and how to network in the community, and special details about the world of the DJ and music technology.
Those who participate will be able to ask Mays questions about what it means to be self-employed versus being an entrepreneur.
The webinar is co-sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations, UD Student Alumni Ambassadors, the Career Services Center and the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship.
