New website provides information, welcomes comment on UD's presidential search
10:15 a.m., May 15, 2015--A new University of Delaware website devoted to the institution's presidential search provides information about the search process and welcomes comment from the community.
The site at www.udel.edu/presidentialsearch, which will be updated throughout the search process, includes the latest news about the search, brief biographies of the members of the Presidential Search Committee and information about the University, including links to information resources.

The site also features an online form where members of the community can submit their comments about UD's strengths and the challenges it faces, as well as their thoughts about the characteristics and qualifications needed for the University's next president.
Users are also invited to nominate an individual to be the next UD president by sending email to UD.President@russellreynolds.com.
UD President Patrick Harker announced March 3 that he is stepping down to become president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on July 1. The Board of Trustees has appointed a 15-member Presidential Search Committee, co-chaired by trustees Terri Kelly and Don Puglisi, to identify his successor. Nancy Targett, dean of the University's College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, will serve as acting president during the search process.
