Free outdoor-style showing of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' set at Bacchus Theatre

2:32 p.m., Jan. 8, 2015--The University Student Centers will show Guardians of the Galaxy at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, in Bacchus Theatre at the Perkins Student Center. 

All University of Delaware students are welcome to bring their UD ID for free entry to this outdoor-style showing, which will feature ample space for attendees to bring blankets, pillows or anything else they would like to use as comfortable seating for the movie.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Complimentary refreshments including popcorn, soda and a wide selection of candy will be available, along with a variety of prizes that will be awarded to winners of trivia themed around the USA's highest grossing movie of 2014.
