Entrepreneurs visit and present at UD's Free Lunch Friday series
10:42 a.m., Feb. 12, 2015--The University of Delaware Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club), in collaboration with Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, invites students and members of the campus community to hear lectures by promising entrepreneurs at Free Lunch Friday events this February.
Each Friday at 11 a.m., students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University are invited to attend a 15-20 minute presentation at the Venture Development Center, located at 132 E. Delaware Ave.

Each presentation is on an aspect of entrepreneurship, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session.
The events are free and open to the public, but seating is on a first come, first served basis. Lunch and refreshments are free to attendees.
Upcoming speakers include:
- Feb. 20: Michael Porter, CEO, Sherm Catering. Porter is an accomplished chef and business owner with vast experience in the restaurant business. Since opening in 2008, Porter’s catering business has soared, and in 2013 he was named the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year.
- Feb. 27: Morgan Berman, co-founder and CEO, MilkCrate Philly. Berman is an entrepreneur and multidisciplinary designer with experience in architecture, UX design, urban planning, digital and 3D art, blog writing and homegrown meals. Her focus is on growing sustainable thinking in urban contexts, particularly her hometown of Philadelphia. Morgan was named a Tribe12 Entrepreneur Fellow Recipient in 2013.
