The theme is “Confronting Contemporary Issues in Undergraduate Learning,” which is broadly conceived to allow students to present innovative and creative research work they are doing on their campuses in their respective disciplines.
Students engaged in interdisciplinary work are also encouraged to present.
Proposals can be for individual papers or complete panels or posters that focus on any aspect of the humanities, technologies, social sciences, natural sciences, education, communications, gender and sexuality, Africa and the diaspora, ethnic and cultural studies, feminist and black feminist theory, diversity, labor and community engagement.
Awards will be presented to the best presenters at the end of the conference.
The undergraduate student proposal should be submitted electronically and must include submitter’s name; faculty adviser’s name; title of the paper, panel, roundtable, or poster; and an abstract of approximately 150 words.
The proposal should also include the institutional affiliation of each presenter, phone number, and email address.
UD students can submit proposals by Jan. 19 to Regina Sims Wright, assistant professor in the School of Nursing, at rsims@udel.edu.
