Students can show off their summer in UD's Vine video contest
1:02 p.m., July 31, 2013--Whether they are spending the season abroad, at home, at work, or just relaxing, University of Delaware students are invited to show off their summer in UD’s first Vine video contest.
Vine is a popular and relatively new mobile app that allows users to shoot and share looping six-second videos with their social networks.

Every day from Aug. 5-9, Vine users who follow UD and who shoot and share videos with the hashtag #UDVines will be entered to win a gift card from the Barnes and Noble University Bookstore.
Each day’s winner will be notified when their Vine video is “revined” by UD’s official Vine and Twitter accounts.
Contest judges, also members of the social media team in UD’s Office of Communications and Marketing, say creativity is a major factor they will consider when choosing each day’s winning submission.
Smartphone owners can download Vine here and look up University of Delaware for inspiration and ideas.
