SCPAB presents spring film series at Trabant Theatre

7:38 a.m., Feb. 11, 2014--The University of Delaware Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) will present a film series during the spring semester.

The series will feature movies in the Trabant University Center Theatre every weekend on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. through May.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

Two films will be shown at alternating times every Friday and Saturday, unless the film is lengthy, in which case it will be shown only once per night. 

Tickets cost $3 each and can be purchased at the box office in the Trabant University Center any day during the week.

There will be an outdoor movie featuring The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on the North Green on Friday, May 9, beginning at 8 p.m. The outdoor movie will be the only movie shown that day.

All films are open to students, staff and the public.
