UD shuttle bus routes back on schedule following storm

8:29 a.m., Dec. 10, 2013--University of Delaware Transportation Services has announced this afternoon that shuttle bus routes are running according to regular schedules now that the snowstorm has moved through the area.

Transportation Services officials note that the Laird Campus Route is again providing service to Ray Street.

Also, the East Campus Route, which earlier was unable to provide service to the White Clay and Pinebrook apartments, is providing service to those complexes.

With temperatures expected to drop below freezing tonight, there could be icing on wet roads that could lead to delays on the night routes.

'Contactless' ONEcard

The UD ID card will be replaced by the ONEcard, which incorporates a chip and features a new technology initiative called "contactless," meaning the card can be placed near a reader device rather than swiped.
