This fall’s program has a travel theme and participants can convert their minutes of physical activity, servings of fruits and vegetables consumed and work/life balance activities into virtual travel miles and “visit” attractions along six famous trails across the globe.
The online program provides real-time tracking for individuals and for teams, as well as the opportunity to invite co-workers to support each other as trail mates. The cost is 20 Wellness Dollars and registration is open through Sept. 26.
Additional fall fitness programs include employee-only fitness classes and individual fitness services, including personal training.
Faculty, staff, students and community members are also invited to participate in the HealthyU 5K Fun Walk/Run to be held beginning at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3. The course will wind through East Campus, along the city of Newark’s James F. Hall Trail and end with a lap of The Green, finishing in front of Gore Hall.
