E-52 Student Theatre to stage Shakespeare's 'Measure for Measure'

2:14 p.m., April 22, 2014--E-52 Student Theatre at the University of Delaware will perform its main stage production of William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure from April 25 through May 3.

Show times will be at 7:30 p.m. on April 25-26 and May 1-3, with a matinee at 2 p.m. April 27, in the auditorium of Pearson Hall on Academy Street.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

With a cast of 18 members studying a variety of majors, this sensual production delves into the fight for justice in a corrupted dukedom.

Measure for Measure is directed by Brad Michalakis, a sophomore Honors student and Shakespeare aficionado. 

The production stars Emily Van Atta as Isabella, Lukas Campolo as the Duke, and Zachary Rogers as Angelo. 

Tickets will be sold at the door and cost $5 for students and $8 for non-students. FLEX will be accepted.
