Office of New Student Orientation accepting applications for 2013 staff
8:15 a.m., Sept. 25, 2012--The University of Delaware’s Office of New Student Orientation is accepting applications for 2013 Orientation Leaders (OLs).
OLs will officially welcome new Blue Hens to campus during New Student Orientation and help ease the transition of freshmen, transfer and international students and their families.

To be an OL, a student must have attended UD for at least one full semester prior to January 2013, be in good academic and disciplinary standing, have a minimum 2.5 grade point average, and love being a Blue Hen.
OLs will receive on-campus housing and parking during NSO 2013, a $2,400 stipend, limited meals, free UD swag, and an outstanding leadership experience.
Interest meetings will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, Monday, Oct. 8, and Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m., in 217 Gore Hall. Former OLs and New Student Orientation staff will share their experiences and what to expect from the position.
