Lecture focuses on new challenges for China's economy

3:02 p.m., Nov. 28, 2012--Dennis O’Brien, president and CEO of China Monitor Inc., will present the lecture “Reform Amid Transition: New Challenges for China’s Economy” at the University of Delaware on Friday, Nov. 30, at 4:30 p.m., in 116 Gore Hall. 

The talk will be the second presentation in the China Forum, a new monthly lecture series launched in October by the Confucius Institute at UD.

Fulbright awards

Three University of Delaware students and an alumna have received word this spring that they will travel abroad as part of the newest class of Fulbright Student Program award winners.

Peace Corps plans

Two University of Delaware students, John McCarron and Bridgette Spritz, have been selected as Peace Corps volunteers and will serve in Ghana and Rwanda.

The first lecture focused on how the Internet is changing Chinese society.
