The thank-a-thon and the make and take, in which students will construct banks, will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Trabant University Center dining area, the Perkins Student Center lobby and the UD Barnes and Noble Bookstore.
Students will have the opportunity to write thank-you notes to the many alumni who have given their time and financial resources to help create opportunities and experiences for students. All students are also invited to create UD inspired banks to start saving their money for their senior class gift.
In the evening, the Class of 2013 is invited to Kildare's Irish Pub on Main Street to share in the excitement and kickoff of the Senior Class Gift Campaign.
The senior class gift program is an opportunity for students to show their appreciation for the many opportunities they have had at the University. Seniors are encouraged to give back to any area for which they are passionate.
The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. and there will be free food and the first 100 attendees will receive free T-shirts.
