UD's Vita Nova restaurant accepting reservations for fall semester

1:18 p.m., Aug. 10, 2012--Vita Nova, the campus restaurant run by students in the University of Delaware’s Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, is now accepting reservations for the fall semester.

Vita Nova, which is located on the second floor of the Trabant University Center, will open for lunch on Tuesday, Sept. 4, and for dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

The University of Delaware Library has announced the opening of the Littleton and Jane Mitchell papers.

Inclusive and effusive

The first cohort in UD's Career and Life Studies Certificate program have completed their two-year program, designed to provide students with intellectual disabilities with academic and life skills instruction, while engaging in social activities on campus.

The students offer an award-winning lunch buffet Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. and elegant four-course dining Wednesday-Friday from 5:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

For those guests looking for more casual fare, the Darden Bistro, also located on the second floor of the Trabant University Center, offers a three-course theatre menu, a tapas style small plate menu, custom cocktails and an extensive wine selection.

The Darden Bistro is open Wednesday-Friday from 5:30 p.m.
