Baltimore Ravens linebacker to speak at UD
9:15 a.m., Sept. 26, 2011--Brendon Ayanbadejo, a Baltimore Ravens linebacker, special teams player and three-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, will speak at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.
Ayanbadejo's presentation, "Building Special Teams," will focus on the essential elements of putting together a successful team, using examples from the world of NFL football.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Ayanbadejo is an outspoken advocate for gay marriage and a spokesperson for the NOH8 Campaign, and will also address the importance of defining values as it relates to team building.
