Participants can choose the level at which they would like to participate -- either Gold, Silver or Bronze -- and track their weekly minutes of physical activity.
Hardcopy and online logs will be available, making it convenient for participants to stay active, no matter where they spend their summer months.
Optional weekly activities are planned on the Newark campus and will provide employees the opportunity to try out six different sports featured in the summer games. Activities include swimming, a kickboxing group fitness class, cycling, beach volleyball, circuit weight training and a track workout led by UD’s director of running programs, Jim Fischer.
Participants may choose to form teams and compete for additional prizes.
Wellness Dollars for this fiscal year expire on June 30 and can be used to register for this program. Read more and register online or call 831-8388.
