Film society plans 2012 Campus Filmfest in Trabant


2:13 p.m., May 4, 2012--Have an original film you'd like to share? Students are invited to submit films to the Reel Productions Film Society's 2012 Campus Filmfest, scheduled at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 10, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.

The free public festival will feature a variety of short films in different genres, including music videos, comedies and experimental films.

Dec. 1: 'Alice' manuscript

A talk by August A. Imholtz Jr. marking the 150th anniversary of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in the Morris Library on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.

Dec. 2: UD Night at Winterthur

University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to join in the winter festivities at UD Night at Yuletide at Winterthur from 4:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Films up to 10 minutes in length can still be submitted for the festival through Monday, May 7. Send your submission to through Dropbox or, or drop off a DVD at the Reel Productions Film Society office in 303 Perkins Student Center.
