Film society plans 2012 Campus Filmfest in Trabant

2:13 p.m., May 4, 2012--Have an original film you'd like to share? Students are invited to submit films to the Reel Productions Film Society's 2012 Campus Filmfest, scheduled at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 10, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.

The free public festival will feature a variety of short films in different genres, including music videos, comedies and experimental films.

April 6-11: Public Health Week

The University of Delaware will celebrate National Public Health Week 2015, with daily events for the entire community at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research Campus from April 6-11.

April 9: Dinosaur discovery

Drexel professor and UD alumnus Kenneth Lacovara will discuss his discovery of Dreadnoughtus schrani, the most complete supermassive dinosaur skeleton ever found.

Films up to 10 minutes in length can still be submitted for the festival through Monday, May 7. Send your submission to reelproductionsud@gmail.com through Dropbox or WeTransfer.com, or drop off a DVD at the Reel Productions Film Society office in 303 Perkins Student Center.
