Blue Hen Leadership Program offers Thursday workshop series

5:19 p.m., Jan. 10, 2012--The Blue Hen Leadership Program (BHLP) will offer a three-part series this winter on Leadership and Pop Culture. 

The program looks at leadership with a fun and creative twist. Workshops will be held in the Trabant University Center on Thursdays from 4:30–6:40 p.m., beginning on Jan. 12. Pizza will be provided.

A taste of psychology

A new Winter Session course gives students insights into basic psychological principles in relation to food.

New master's program

A multidisciplinary master's degree in entrepreneurship and design at UD will accept its first cohort of students this year.

Here is the full schedule:

Jan. 12: “The Leadership of Lost” will look at the situational leadership model. The workshop will incorporate clips from Lost, one of the most successful dramatic television series in history.

Jan. 19: “The Leadership Challenge Is So Fetch” takes a look at the movie Mean Girls to analyze the leadership behind mean girls.

Jan. 26: “Values and The Social Network” will use the Academy Award-winning film The Social Network about the creation of Facebook to teach value-based leadership.
