Office of Human Resources chosen for national conference presentation
10:20 a.m., Feb. 22, 2012--The University of Delaware's Office of Human Resources has been chosen to present at the 2012 national conference of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR).
The presentation will focus on UDelCARE, an innovative health care delivery model that integrates health promotion, disease prevention, and on-site medical services.
"The cost of health care continues to rise, and traditional approaches to controlling those costs have not proven sustainable over the long term," says Jennifer (J.J.) Davis, vice president for finance and administration. "Our team is pleased to help lead the challenge of developing a cost-effective and sustainable model for delivering quality health services to employees."
The conference will be held in Boston from Sept. 7-11.
