New academic year brings new services to UD Mobile Web

10:49 a.m., Aug. 31, 2011--The new academic year brings new services to UD Mobile Web. Over the summer, features to the service have expanded to include the following:

  • Emergency phone numbers 
  • Course schedule and registration (including drop/add)
  • Grades view
  • Housing assignment view 
  • Housing check in 
  • IT system status 
  • Library services

UD Mobile Web already includes links to athletics, exam schedules, shuttle bus schedules, campus maps, events, game day live, news and people search.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

To use mobile services, go to m.udel.edu using your mobile device. You can also preview the smartphone version of the site from your desktop or laptop.

UD Mobile Web was developed using iMobileU, which is an open source program. Using an open source solution, the University benefits from, and contributes to, the core practice of sharing information and experiences with other organizations that use iMobileU. This world-wide network supports best practices and continued growth in mobile technology.

In the next week or so, Courses Search, Sakai@UD and UD Capture will be available. Other services are in progress and will be added to UD Mobile Web as they are ready.
