12:18 p.m., Aug. 19, 2011--The University of Delaware’s Class of 2015 will move in next week and begin making friendships that will last long after each student’s years at UD.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

On new student move-in day, the Blue Hen Friends with the most votes–which will be determined by the number of “Likes” each photo receives–will win a mystery grand prize, so encourage your friends to vote.

All submissions must be posted directly on the official University of Delaware Facebook page. Voting begins when the first picture is posted and continues through noon on Saturday, Aug. 27.
