The Human Resource Management System (HRMS) upgrade is designed to support the recruitment of a diverse and engaged work force through the development and implementation of enhanced business systems and processes.

The new online recruitment tool will generate efficiencies by:

--Creating a secure and accessible online mechanism for potential applicants to search and apply for positions at the university;

--Enabling applicants to apply for multiple positions, as well as, providing an opportunity for hiring managers to send job postings electronically;

--Eliminating the manual process of sending and receiving Applicant Information Forms (AIFs) to expedite the applicant selection and interview process;

--Removing the need for paper copies of resumes and curriculum vitas, while enhancing the efficiencies of real-time access to resumes, CVs and applications in support of the University’s sustainability initiative; and

--Creating an electronic footprint for recruitment actions at UD.

The forthcoming enhanced UD Employment website will make it easier to navigate and apply for positions electronically and also will serve as a resource of information for potential applicants.

The implementation of the new online application is the result of a dedicated interdisciplinary team representing the Office of Human Resources: Recruitment and Employment Services, Employee Education and Development; Human Resources Information Technology; and the Office of Information and Technologies, MIS.

In preparation for launching the new online application, the Office of Human Resources has scheduled several training sessions to review the enhancements, including WebForm modifications. Participants also will learn how to navigate the new recruitment component in the PeopleSoft system. To reserve a space at the training sessions, visit the Employee Education and Development training website. Anyone who has a role in the recruitment process is encouraged to attend.
