Using UD's Web Proxy Server

UD's web proxy server provides off-campus access to materials previously available only through a direct connection to the campus network.

IE 7 (Windows XP) and Vista Users

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP) and Vista operating system do not work with the UD Proxify shortcut. If you need to use UD's proxy service, please select one of the following options:

  • To use UD Library Resources using the web proxy service, follow this link.
  • To use the UDeploy server via the web proxy service, follow this link.
  • To use any other web page that requires UD's proxy service, you can copy and paste the URL of the page you wish to view into the box labeled proxify a real URL: on the main UD Proxy Server web page. You can also use this method to access the UDeploy server or Library resources.
  • In all of these cases, after you provide your UDelNet ID and password, you should have access to the UD-licensed resource.
