  • 7 – 8:30 am -- Breakfast hours at Pencader Dining Hall (2 tables reserved for Institute participants)
  • 9 – 11:00 am -- Lecture and discussion led by Professor James Roger Sharp, Syracuse University,
    Room 106 Pencader Hall
  • 11 – 1:00 pm -- Lunch break, Pencader Dining Hall is open 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • 1 – 3:00 pm -- Lecture and discussion with Professor Sharp
  • 3:30 pm -- Mr. Fran O’Malley will lead discussion on methods for teaching the content of the day’s work
  • 5 – 7:30 pm -- Free time for dinner, Pencader Dining is open 5 – 6:30 p.m.
  • 7:30 pm -- Guest lecture, 106 Pencader Hall

  • July 14: Professor Cathy Matson, University of Delaware,
    will present lecture and discussion on Hamilton’s economic program
  • July 15 Professor Matson
  • July 16 Professor James H. Broussard, Lebanon Valley College
    will speak on factionalism among the federalists
  • July 17 Dr. Matthew Spalding, Heritage Foundation Institute,
    will assess George Washington’s Farewell Address
