4.                  Excellence Awards: Review materials and procedures

 

a.       Review email inviting student nominations  

b.      Review and test our online nomination forms : you can submit test nominations, if you like. Linda can delete them.

c.       Review descriptions of Excellence Awards on our website: teaching and advising-mentoring

d.      Arrange publicity:  Facebook ad, meet-and-greet, etc.

 

5.                  Honors Day Program

 

a.       Review IFS application for Judy Cohen Schwartz Scholarship

b.      Thinning the booklet:

                                                               i.      Aim (from May 2007 minutes): “Bob Davis recommended reviewing all awards that were accepted for automatic listing in the Honors Day Booklet prior to 2006, that is, before we established a monetary minimum for new awards. Are all the “grandfathered” awards still appropriate for inclusion?”

                                                             ii.      Division of labor for reviewing currently-listed awards in the electronic masterfile (for your reference only: do NOT try to print it!)
