Minor in Medical Diagnostics

This minor is designed for students preparing for admission to professional schools in medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy and to graduate programs in related health fields.

• Alaa Mahmoud and Kathleen Schieffer, senior medical technology majors, were recipients of the Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic Scholarships administered by ASCP. A total of 50 were awarded nationwide.

• Congratulations to Dr. Mary Ann McLane who was installed as the 75th President of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science on July 25, 2009 in Chicago at the Society's annual meeting.
