Graduate School Fair

  • 3 p.m.—Conquering Graduate School Admissions
    This is an overview of the expectations and procedures for applying to graduate school. We will discuss types of standardized tests for graduate admission, personal statements, how this process is different from applying to undergraduate programs, funding and other general topics related to the graduate school application process. Presenters: Dr. Keeley Powell, Assistant Director for Recruitment and Diversity and Mrs. Louise Bank, Director of Graduate Admissions, both from the Office of Graduate and Professional Education

  • 4 p.m.—UD McNair Information Session & Panel
    Are you interested in becoming a McNair Scholar? This seminar will provide an overview of the application criteria, selection process, scholar expectations, and overall benefits of being selected to as a McNair Scholar at the University of Delaware. Presenters: McNair Staff and McNair Scholars

  • 5 p.m.—Myth Busters: Graduate School Funding
    This seminar will provide an overview of the various funding opportunities available to graduate school applicants and current graduate students. Are there debt-free options for graduate school? Can I work and attend graduate school? Is it true that there's no funding for Master's degrees? How can I get the graduate application fee waived? Join this discussion and decrease myths and fears about graduate school funding. Presenters: Mary Martin and Graduate School Representatives
