TERM SOLUTIONS TO INSECT PESTS
A description of the economics
and effectiveness of widespread insecticide use
This web page is intended to show that insecticides do have some
short term benefits, but the widespread

envronment and the population, and an ineffective
means of controlling insect pests in the long run. In addition,
a more effective alternative to widespread
insecticide use, known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM), is
proposed.
