Corporate Associate - 09/00 to 06/01 Performed various functions within the Customer Service Center.

ARMSTRONG WORLD INDUSTRIES Lancaster, PA

Mechanical Engineer in the Project Engineering Group from 7/98 - 8/00. Responsibilities included: Managing capital projects ranging from $5,000 to $750,000, generating estimates, writing appropriation requests, developing construction requirements and specifications, coordinating design, supervising contrators in the field, managing financial aspets of each project using SAP, and provided various training to new hires and production employees.

MINI-BAJA CAR PROJECT Blacksburg, VA

Responsible group leader in a true “team” environment for front suspension and steering systems from 8/96 to 6/98. Baja car was designed and fabricated as a senior design project out of the ME department. Competed in national competitions through SAE with other Universities.

FORD MOTOR COMPANY Norfolk, VA

Maintenance Supervisor - Summer 1997 Trained and worked independently as a maintenance supervisor in the final assembly (trim/chassis) area. Position included supervising twelve skilled tradesman, coordinating preventative maintenance actions, and targeting problematic equipment.
