James Madison knocks UD out of CAA tourney

6:15 p.m., March 10, 2007--James Madison University defeated the University of Delaware 67-56 in the semifinals of the Colonial Athletic Association women’s basketball championship tournament on Saturday afternoon, March 10, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

The Dukes will face Old Dominion University for the conference championship on Sunday, March 11.

Senior guard Tyresa Smith led the Fightin’ Blue Hens with 19 points, and senior forward Chrissy Fisher had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Junior forward Courtney Irving had 13 points.
