Albany tops Blue Hens 13-7 in men’s lacrosse

Adam Zuder-Havens had three goals in the loss at Albany.

8:45 a.m., March 12, 2007--In a battle of nationally ranked teams, the No. 4 University at Albany defeated the No. 10 University of Delaware 13-7 on Saturday in upstate New York.

With the loss, the Fightin' Blue Hens fell to 5-1. They will return to action with a game against another nationally ranked opponent, Georgetown University, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, at Rullo Stadium.

In the loss, Adam Zuder-Havens had three goals and one assist. The Hens also got goals from Chris Hichborn, Jordan Hall, Sean Calabrese and Beau Davis. Alex Smith won 14 of 24 face-offs and goalkeeper Tommy Scherr had 13 saves.
