Abbruzzese competes in NCAA Zone A diving

9:09 a.m., March 5, 2007--University of Delaware sophomore Matt Abbruzzese competed in the NCAA Zone A diving championships held Friday and Saturday at Rutgers University, finishing in 25th place in the one-meter event and 27th in the three-meter event.

Earlier this season, Abbruzzese finished fourth in the three-meter dive and sixth in the one-meter dive at the Colonial Athletic Association championships. He is the current UD record-holder in the three-meter dive, with a best score of 335.20.
