Delaware men’s soccer falls 1-0 to Towson

9:47 a.m., Oct. 11, 2004--Towson University's J.C. Cole scored just 24 minutes into the game and the Tigers held on for a 1-0 victory over the University of Delaware in Colonial Athletic Association men's soccer play on Saturday night at Delaware Mini-Stadium.

Cole's goal was from 15 yards out and was assisted by Pat Healey.

The Fightin’ Blue Hens (3-7, 0-3 CAA) had several strong scoring chances in the game. Junior Justin Arpan drove one just wide of the net in the first half, while in the second half both Sobhan and Sal Tadjalli had opportunities.

UD senior goalkeeper Kyle Haynes had two saves.

UD will visit Lehigh University at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12.
