UD women’s lacrosse ranked No. 20 in poll

9:39 a.m., April 6, 2005--The University of Delaware women’s lacrosse team is ranked No. 20 in the most recent Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll for NCAA Division I.

The 4-4 Fightin’ Blue Hens slipped from No. 15 after suffering a pair of losses in Colonial Athletic Association play, 11-8 to Drexel University and 11-9 to Hofstra University, which is now ranked No. 10.

The Hens will face No. 19 James Madison University in a CAA contest at 4 p.m., Friday, April 8, in Harrisonburg, Va.

Northwestern University leads the poll, followed in the top five by Duke University, Princeton University, Georgetown University and the University of Virginia.
