Delaware Invitational track meet April 8-9 12:57 p.m., April 4, 2005--The University of Delaware track and fields teams will host the Delaware Invitational meet on Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, at the Delaware Mini-Stadium. The Fightin’ Blue Hens competed in the rain-shortened Terrapin Invitational held Saturday afternoon at the University of Maryland. Just five events were contested before heavy rains forced the cancellation of the meet. UD’s Matt Bryden finished seventh in the men's 5,000 meters (16:15.69), Kate Klim finished ninth in the women's 3,000 meters steeplechase (11:50.38), Brenda Greene finished 11th in the women's 5,000 meters (20:11.41), Mike Manlove finished 21st in the men's 5,000 meters (17:51.85) and Matt O'Brien finished 22nd in the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase (10:54.84).
