UD single game football tickets on sale Aug. 1 6:09 p.m., July 31, 2005--Single game tickets for the 2005 University of Delaware football season will go on sale beginning Monday, Aug. 1, at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Tickets for UD's seven home games at Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1, at the box office and through Ticketmaster, telephone 302) 984-2000 or on the web at [www.ticketmaster.com]. UD season ticket holders can purchase single game tickets at the Delaware Field House ticket office. Call (302) 831-2257 for additional ticket information. The box office at The Bob will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., daily, Monday through Friday, from Aug. 1-28. Beginning Aug. 29, box office hours at The Bob will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday. Also, the Trabant University Center box office will open Aug. 29 with hours of 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday. Both box offices will be closed Sept. 3-5 for the Labor Day holiday. Tickets cost $19 for reserved seats in sections D and K, $18 for general seating in the east and west stands, $13 for adults for north end zone seats and $6 for children under 17 for north end zone seats. In addition to single game tickets, season ticket packages also remain on sale at the Delaware Field House season ticket office or by calling (302) 831-2257. Ticket packages range from $84 to $175. As of July 29, a school record 10,900 season ticket packages have been sold. The Fightin' Blue Hens, who captured their second straight Atlantic 10 Conference title and advanced to the NCAA Division I-AA quarterfinals with a 9-4 record a year ago, will host seven regular season home games this season: The Hens will begin pre-season practice on Friday, Aug. 12, with media day planned for 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, at Delaware Stadium.
